
A team of Sierra Leonean Pastors in Accra, Ghana, on Thursday, 13th February, made a visit on High Commissioner, Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba of the Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana at his Chancery office.
Speaking during the engagement, Rev Paul Sahr Sayoh, on behalf of his colleague pastors, congratulated the High Commissioner on his appointment and wished him a pleasant stay while carrying out his tour of duty in Ghana.
He briefed the high commissioner on the long-standing relationship that have existed between the Sierra Leone High Commission and the Sierra Leonean Pastos in Ghana, citing how supportive the two have been to each other.
Commenting on the roles played by the Pastors while in Ghana, Rev Sayoh said they all use their different churches to discusses key issues and that engaging them through their medium has been productive.
As a group, he noted that they are willing to work with and support the High Commissioner and his team just as they have been doing with his predecessors and called on the mission not to hesitate on reaching out to them as an when there’s need.
Other pastors who formed part of the visiting team like Rev. Christian Massaquoi, Rev. Ben Ellie appreciated the High Commissioner for making time to meet with them while promising to always work together and be praying for the good of Sierra Leone and his citizens.
Reacting, His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba commended the pastors for their visit and for welcoming him to Ghana with their blessings.
He said that as someone who believed in God, he is firmly of the belief in doing what is right and loving each other at all times.
H.E. Kaisamba guaranteed working closely with the visiting team of the Sierra Leonean Pastors in Ghana even as everyone continue to fly the Green White and Blue flag of Sierra Leone and urged them to constantly be supportive of each other in love.
"We will support each other in various fields as long as it is for the good of Sierra Leone," he added.
